The tracks are still connected, but not the power. Yarra will not allow operation for safety reasons.

That was probably such a simple solution, that nobody considered it.

I am staggered that Melbourne has nobody left who can drive a W2.

Can any of the trams in Hawthorn be driven out under power now? Is it still connected to the tracks outside?
