Or for a not-too-expensive sum, you can hire any operational tram you like (as I did, several years ago!), then you can have all the photo stops you want ... even if it does mean shunting all cross-overs etc., to allow the regular service cars to overtake.

Not as far as I know - it depends on weather, car availability and crew (open cars need tow crew members).

It's always worth an email to the Bendigo Tramways with a request for a partyicular day- they are a friendly mob!

The other car in service on Thursday was 44 - also pretty open!
