Wot were you driving?

A lout in a FJ Holden told me I did 80K down the hill from Trafalgar Rd
when I stopped at the Riversdale level crossing. I was running in at night. I was driving a Big Car and was in full parallel all the way

Gee, I respect 247 motors. In retrospect, it was a cruel thing to
do to those armatures

He said "I didnt know trams could go so fast" ,and gave me a tinny
which was welcome as it was a hot night

He may have boosted the real speed
