Of course in those days the site had dual track access and egress to Anzac Parade.
Even though the right of way still exists today all trams accessing Kingsford (run out, run in) after entering/leaving service must exit the depot via Allison Road, run on Allison Road to Dacey Avenue
and then reverse to get onto Anzac Parade.
Another example of a failure to properly consider \operational parameters in the design stage. Value for money?
noting that the Anzac Parade/Allison Road intersection is already one of Sydney's most congested.
