Thank heavens the Trust has finally made a vehicle operational in the last-carried SEC colours as remembered by us oldies. I “had” to hire trams in other colours when last in town.

Finally managed to get a happy snap of Bendigo No. 7 today (yay!). It was on the depot fan under some sort of maintenance (see sign partly obscuring its number on the front apron). This tram was recently restored using 'crowd funding', and looks really good in its delightful SEC colours. Also, toast-rack tram No. 17 was on run No.1 of the tourist tram service, and was conveniently located on the creek bridge just outside the depot, for your photographer.
