In recent discussions on this subject, Route 82 Footscray to Moonee Ponds was mentioned.

That prompted me to prepare the Driver’s View video on that line for publishing on Friday.

Unusually, I kept an eye on the bus stop posts and discovered the entire line has parallel buses, and consequently bus stops.

But what a hotch potch of combinations I saw. The first image is in Droop St where stops are quite close together. This is possibly the best option as a bus arriving first would not block the tram driver from seeing his passengers, quite a risk where both modes use the same stop post.

The second is Ascot Vale Rd at Chaucer St just before Moonee Ponds terminus..
