It seems there is always something to see on the way to or from the monthly TDU gathering at the Mail Exchange Hotel in Melbourne.

The hotel is directly opposite the former head office of the Melbourne Tramway and Omnibus Co - who built and ran Melbourne's cable trams.

First pic shows the office - a heritage listed building now housing various charitable trusts.

Second pic shows the peak of the facade on the building, which has recently had the original monogram of the MT&OCo restored.
