I was in the city early this afternoon and noticed that some Swanston St services were diverting via William St.

Apparently it was due to a combination of power problems and the usual Friday rally at Fed Square.

The pic shows a re-routed 1a which has come up Kingsway passing 213 which was a short shunting 6a about to return to Moreland.

In the distance at left a Bigbino is seen beside the old signal box - probably on transfer from Brunswick to Malvern for servicing.
