Please add my name to the list of TDU members who enjoyed crossing swords - and words - with Grumpy during the last few years. A
fellow Croydonian - at least for the few years when he was working in Croydon - he was able to bring back memories and also updates
to my memories.

Vale indeed, and rest in peace, though no doubt he would be willing to dispute the finer points of tramway operation with St Peter,
and the Archangels.

My condolences to his family - may they be comforted by the many who enjoyed reading his emails to TDU.
