Hello,

My understanding with the way proper English should be spoke is that the
adverb immediately precedes the noun it is referring to.

I.e., "ONLY TRAMS", not "TRAMS ONLY".

Another example: "ONLY BUS LANE", not "BUS LANE ONLY" (!)
