I don't think your average driver has any clue what so ever what the
advance yellow flashers mean and they ignore them.

I have a pretty low opinion of the skill level of most of the operators
of road vehicals, hence my opinion that self driving cars and trucks,
and the eventual banning of manual operation except at closed enthusiast
events, can't come soon enough.
