RE: Fremantle again
  Noel Reed

Hi Mal & all,

Years ago we had a similar baby ‘pusher’ for our eldest daughter [born 1965] and now a R N.

A neighbour [who was married on the same day as us] accidentally backed her car over the pusher [minus baby] and converted it to a very damaged state.

She said ‘sorry’ ---- end of story.

Noel Reed. Whose frequent response when someone says sorry for something out of their control, [like a late train] ----

“Sorrow is not necessary.”

Tonight's pic is another gem from the camera of Noel Reed c 1952.

34 is at the corner of Market St and High St Fremantle, heading South
after leaving the railway station.

I'm struck by the baby 'pusher' at left - I was probably paraded around
in something similar around that period.

Mal Rowe - noting a distinct difference from the monster baby carriages
of today_,_.___
