Great to see your photos Andrew; the Reverend Leon Marshall-Wood was a name
well-known by many enthusiasts like me, who never had the privilege to meet
him. May he Rest in Peace.
When I was younger, people getting in the way of my photos used to annoy me
- now I look for people in pictures !
Also a nice shot of the Workers Sleeper; according to Peter J Vincent's
records (unless I have made a mistake) this was originally built as 54ABAB
in 1901, probably to replace other similar cars ear-marked for
electrification. Renumbered 52 AB c.1910, converted to 96 WW in 1962,
scrapped 1982; reported at Malmsbury for auction in 1997.
The two sleepers either side look like ex-suburban Dogboxes (or left-overs
not converted); is there any chance of posting shots of those as well,
Andrew ?
