Here's another pic at the Black Rock terminus, this time looking south.
The telephone box at right is the same one as in the earlier pic.

51 was one of two VR standard bogie cars built in 1921 and converted to the MMTB Y1 design by the MMTB at Preston Workshops in 1933 (the other was 50).
Earlier that year the VR had borrowed Y1 613 for trials on the Sandringham - Black Rock tramway.

Mal Rowe - who would love to find a pic of 613 at Black Rock!
