A mere 20-30 years ago, this corridor was a pleasant rural lane through farmland. There is still a reminder of the old that has been kept though, just off the bottom of that aerial photo: the Bella Vista Farm group and park which dates back to the 1790s, is open for public days and still has a flock of the purebred descendants of the original Macarthur merino sheep of 1797:
