There were initially more stops than in 1994 --- in 1938 there was one at
Gillard St only a stone's throw from the terminus - I know as I lived in
that street!. It was abandoned in the war years, as others also.

Besides all the platform stops on the line today, perhaps what I notice most
is the number of tram stops which have been completely removed or shifted to
amalgamate with others since I left the job in 1994.
