Having the contract to build all those ugly and useless “sound barriers” for the Qld department of transport must be a tidy little earner.

No barrier next to the motorway for years, but start running resilient wheeled trams beside it and the need for a Berlin Wall replica is urgent. What do they call the gap in it - Checkpoint Charlie ?
