It's from Almada - just across the Tagus River from Lisbon in Portugal.

It was then called a "Combino Plus" then.
After the name Combino became a real turn-off, Siemens re-named it the Avenio.
Each section rides on its own truck.

You can see the extra long double articulation in the centre - that's dictated by the 'truck under each section' design.

It performed well, and quite a lot have been sold in Europe (including some very long ones in Budapest) but the Siemens name in Victoria was mud - due to failures of both trams and trains from that manufacturer.
