Mick, if there's the technology nowadays to electronically mimic a continuous axle, why remain stuck in the old ways? It's like celebrating coming across a telephone with a wire fixing it to the wall and arguing that it's better than a modern wireless phone! In some small ways it is, in most ways it isn't. The advantages of wire-free outweigh the disadvantages. Anyway, there's a bigger issue with the Citadis - the bogies/trucks are fixed and don't swivel. No amount of electronics can seriously address that one.
