Yes its a pity that most Australian administrations place so much emphasis on the road including their pet solution - buses which are just part of the road gridlock.

PT is not always slower either, even door-to-door and especially in peak periods and increasingly crowded Saturdays. And you're not allowed to read when you're sitting in that comfy, cosy car crawling along in a traffic gridlock.
