An anonymous TDU correspondent recently visited NZ.

He writes:

During a recent short stay in late April 2017 in Wellington, New
Zealand, I had the opportunity to catch up with some Wellington
trolleybus operations. Here are some pictures of three-axle Designline
trolleybuses, including 359 at the railway station holding area, 380 at
Stop D at the Railway Station, and 371 in Manners Street, at Victoria
Street in the central area, bound for Karori Park. It was advised in
the press that the trolley bus system would continue in operation at
least until the end of October 2017, and that the closure would be
likely to be staged.
