Re: Yarra Trams - Runs cut short

They must have had a bad hair day on the 82s (Footscray-Moonee Ponds Jcn
for out of towners) as I waited 28' for a tram at Ascot Vale to go to
Moonee Ponds Jcn. When I have time to spare in going home from the office
before the 1806 northwards from Broadmeadows, I catch a 57 from Haines
Street stop in North Melbourne and travel to Ascot Vale (cnr Union &
Maribyrnong Roads) then an 82 to Moonee Ponds Jcn before a 59 B class takes
me past Stop 40 to Essendon Station. Then a spark to Broady and home on
the sprinters.

Well last night I missed 117 heading for MPD Jcn and then waited 28' for
the next, the driver looked at me silly when I asked was there a tram off
the road? Probably thought I was management or something. I reckon that
following my tram there were probably a whole host of 57s running to
Essendon which they do via MPD Jcn. Oh and 117 was dropping down the hill
to Ascot Vale as we climbed it.
