Following on from the discussion about the use of dsah canopy lights in
Melbourne - from cars 850 to 969 - Today I came across another pic
showing an original dash canopy car.

The pic was made by Miss Ruth Hollick - who was a professional
photographer specialising in portraits of families and children, but
occasionally made other pics. It's from the SLV collection as usual.

Date has to be after 1944 and before 1951.

I recall 871 as one of the SW6 cars with comfortable tip-over seats
running out of Brunswick depot.

Mal Rowe - who remembers Miss Hollick as an older lady in the church he
attended as a young man.
