You need to get that million times magnification on your lens to focus on the manufacturer imprint to find out where they're getting it! I think the question has been asked on TfNSW Facebook with no response, as they probably don't even know what special work is, let alone where it's sourced.

When I spotted it from a moving tram yesterday I thought I saw a three way junction, but as you can see I over-egged the custard a bit there - it’s a couple of right hand turnouts and crossing for the Hay St to George St curves.

Just in front of the stacked pallets of stuff in the foreground components of the 90 degree crossing for the intersection can be seen, along with piles of special work rail for this and other locations.
