This is fantastic stuff. Great for those on here who prefer temporary track rather than short intensive closures - obviously not possible for a project of this scale.

Mick, the 55 will merge with the 8 to become 58, and will run through this spaghetti to Toorak Rd. Assume the new platform stop in Park St (South Melbourne) is because there isn't room for a temporary stop for the 58s at Domain south of Park St (note the other new temporary platform in St Kilda Rd north of Park St). There's even temporary left turn gauntlet track provided for 58s turning left into Park St.
