Fwd: [eurotrams] 150 years of trams in Berlin
  Greg Sutherland

As nobody has posted photos of the 150 years of Berlin tram event so
far, I'll do it. On 22nd June 1865 the first German horse tram line was
opened, it ran from Charlottenburg to Berlin's Brandenburger Tor. On
Sunday, the 28th June 2015 a tram parade was run from the Lichtenberg
tram depot to Alexanderplatz and back. An open top horse tram was shown
only in the depot hall. The Gotha and Tatra T6A2/B6A2 bogie cars hadn't
be seen running for many years and had received an inspection by the BVG
for this event. I photographed the eleven tram sets of the parade in
Siegfriedstraße near the tram depot exit.
