The attached pic is (I think) at the Newtown terminus in Geelong.
The car has just arrived and the conductor is swinging the pole while
the driver takes the handles off to change ends.
The route indicator lights are clearly visible.
The original pic had some 'barrel distortion' which I have made some
attempt at correcting.
This car was re-numbered as 28 in 1951 and was scrapped when the system
closed in 1956.
It is now privately preserved.
