Yarra have promoted the idea of everyone benefiting from the
introduction of the E class by a process of 'cascading' trams to give
each route better trams.
This evening I saw another regular 'cascade' effect - with the arrival
in Melbourne of the Australian Open tennis circus.
Each depot is required to contribute trams to the free shuttle that
carries the tennis patrons from city to court.

The result is unusual car allocations - like Z3s on 19.
