At this morning's press conference I asked how soon a further order would need to be placed to maintain the expertise at Bombardier.
The Bombardier representative said that production goes at least until 2018 - so I guess Victoria has to find some spare change from the East West funnel before then.
Answering your earlier question David, most passengers didn't notice the new tram - but they certianly did once they got on amongst all the hi-vis clad passengers.
Reaction was very positive. The seats over the trucks are much more comfortable than the equivalent on a Citadis or Combino.
