At that length they should have side lights along the trams too.

I think they're mad if they run the trams without cleaning and grinding the tracks. They'll damage the wheels. A couple of the videos show sparks coming off the rail under the trams. What lies beneath...!

Has there been any grinding of the rail surface?

A photo of a week or so back showed what appeared to be mill scale and/or corrosion on the running surface.

With two small headlights or tail lights, no upper marker lights, the trams don't appear to be well equipped light wise.
Are there any amber lights at the ends, or are they only on the sides?

PS Any further queries and I'll fire off another question to keep you busy.

Still heading south on Nerang St. The former hospital is on the left, Queen St over this hill. There appears to be a surplus mast base just beside the tram here. I thought I had a good run back to Wardoo St via another route avoiding traffic lights, but the tram was well into the depot before I got there, so I presume it was a run with little stopping on the way. Yesterday there had been 4 trips, but the depot entry gate lady advised me there were to be no more trips today. Later, going home, the entrance to the Wardoo St reservation had been blocked by that fencing and two of the water filled barriers. There is still minimal sign of use of the rail on that curve. Some wet rail running might make it look a bit better. Regards,
