We must not forget Courage beer and, to get back on topic, it advertised on trams including L class. Courage came on the market in 1968 and the Ls were withdrawn from regular service in 1969.

My favourite is Boag's draught and fortunately it's more readily available in Melbourne these days.

I must look at Ian Cooper's excellent work on the Launceston tramways to see if there is a picture of a hotel selling Boag's with trams passing by.
