I just got going a FAX/laser printer/scanner put out, as seems to be the tradition around here, on the footpath despite it not being cleanup week, and it works fine, and this is the first posting of a scan from this 'freebee' which is much less cumbersome than my previous procedure.

Anyway I joined the SPER in early 1964 as soon as I started earning a wage, and as you can see this coincided with the last duplicatored edition, and the first which I think was by Offset Printing.

I think we all would agree that the increase in price from 6d per edition is well worth the results of Bob Merchants excellent work.

Trolley Wire properly began in 1959; it was preceded by Trolley Wire Review (1956-1959), and before that there was The Trolley Wire (1952-1955) from the AETA Sydney Branch. The last two titles were produced on "quarto" size paper. To find any of them held in libraries, go to http://trove.nla.gov.au/article/result?q=trolley+wire&l-australian=y
