Re: Trams to Eddy Ave and Railway Square

Oxford St has become a "relative" speedway as there is very little through traffic and the number of buses ex Bondi/Bronte is minimal.
And the sections after Taylor Sq to Queen St Woollahra (ie Paddington) now have meaningless Bus lanes - even clearways, kept because of leftover RTA (diff name now) lefty, car hatred. Since the ED was created, through traffic has been deviated - the road is "relatively" empty - both morning and afternoon.

The section to Darlinghurst is also "relatively" fast. It could easily take light rail with curbside or central "stations". It even had "safety zone" stops in tram days - but not all.
