Moving over to George Street where there are some lights around the
stop. The final picture is 2546 leaving George Street and crossing North
End, the main shopping street and therefore has the best lights! Until
April 1951 the trams of London Transport routes 16, 18 (and 42) passed
along North End on their way from London to Purley.
