With today marking 15 years on since I vacated my Flemington Rd. digs of some 10 years for a life in the sleepy hollow of Foxton, NZ, a scene here of L class 104 passing my North Melbourne digs on its way back to Essendon Depot for the crew lunch break, reflecting back on an era when L 104 and L 106 were based at Essendon Depot for working the Sunday Melbourne Zoo shuttle service, something else that has long since faded into the murky passing of time.

What a wonderful tourist idea it was while it was operating but guess it was killed off by the heritage city circle trams.
