FW: Re:- Pssst, Wanna by a tram???
  Jones, Richard

D'oh, D'oh, D'oh

Before I bumped the send button, I meant to say that, of course, 110 is the elder sister of STM's 111.

So anyway, here's a definitely younger perhaps half sister of both cars, brand new Z3 202, on the test track at Preston Workshops in July 1982, prior to entering service.

Also, something which was rarely seen, from the disasterous and mercifully short lived Shirley era of the N.S.W. Public Transport Commission - Rail Division, a specially marshalled all blue and white 8 car single deck suburban set the embankment on the Cronulla line between Sutherland and Kirrawee. This was on a N.S.W. Rail Transport Museum tour in October 1982.

The Shirley colour scheme was abandoned in favour of the previous Indian Red or Tuscan Red (depending on who painted the cars, I think) before sufficient cars were available to make this a regular feature.

Regards

Dick
