Ooops. Well spotted, David.

Oldtimers disease is catching up on me.

It was indeed 42 years since Brisbane trams finished.

To keep up with the sequence of dates, here's a photo of Milton Workshops the day after closure.

I can't recall whether the traverser was operating but it no doubt would have been to remove the trams for disposal. If so, there was at least one 600v d.c. vehicle still operating.
