Back in 1964 or there-abouts ... a mystery tour using a single deck inter-urban set, which ended up being hauled to Waterfall by a 32 + 36 class, returning with 3830. Loftus Junction to Waterfall wasn't wired until two decades later.

Not sure of the date, but Gosford to Gosford Racecourse and return (by a 59 class, I think).
