W6.977 was tonight transferred from Glenhuntly Depot to APSC for repairs after suffering a hot box recently.

Sometime during the afternoon, the tram had been placed on skates in preparation for the transfer, and was waiting on 1 road.

Z1.43 had to be moved off 2 road for my photos. :P

Interestingly, the transfer was under it's own power, with the front of the tram on skates passing me on St Kilda Rd near Commercial Rd sometime just before midnight.

Oh, if you are wondering about the first picture, it's the result of 2 very bored employees. *cough*.
