It's from the "Shoe Shop" collection and I understand that the slide was
taken by David Menzies (who posts regularly).

It was not an easy time to get pictures with real danger of injury or worse.

Ray Marsh took some excellent B&W pictures which I have copies of. but
would want his permission to share on the site.

Mal Rowe - who drove up Queen St just as the flood was peaking that
evening, but didn't stop for pictures!
