.. The good old days 931 in Elizabeth Street. The local ship Society used to meet in the VR building behind & I have slides taken from there not found yet.
034. This view of 1041 on route 96 in Bourke Street on 4th July 1974.
Hawk eyes among you may recognise the Bourke Street West Police Station. I was used in a police line up there. Luckily not guilty but an interesting experience. The local police used to draw their " Extras" from the post office MMTB & VR employees near by. Yes I did get some ribbing in the office about it.
