Re: Ballarat Begonia Festival.

Peter's comments about the use of the W's in Ballarat, reinforce the decision taken by the then BTPS board way back in 1976 when they purchased the W3 & W4 from the MMTB for $150 each. At the time the purists condemned the Board and the decision for "foreign' cars. 40 years later and they are still a worthy addition to the fleet. By the way the begonia festival of 1984, saw W3 661 return to service in Ballarat, and officially stepped out in its new livery of Chocolate and Cream after 18 months of refurbishment.
