I don't usually get invlved in disagreements, and won't really get
involved this time I hope!

I appreciate having the TDU group fairly tightly focussed because I
have limited time to allocate to sifting email. While I don't have a
doctrinaire position against buses, I don't really have much of an
interest in them either. Given the 1000 or so emails I get from TDU a
month, I don't really want to read 1200 and sift out the bus ones. On
the other hand, I don't mind the occasional "TAN" email where the bus
thread links to our main interest.

I have recently taken to immediate deletion of emails where I can't
find the new content amongst the quotes in a couple of seconds ...
perhaps I am getting old(er) and crankier???
