I have seen this before. I think Mick Duncan would have the details. From memory the driver of the tram which hit 304 suffered a medical incident when he was required to stop.

It was around this time also I think that a driver coming into the Elizabeth Street terminus also had a medical problem and ended at the footpath of Flinders Street station.
