Reference to the "Bug House" really made me laugh! In my distant youth in
Glasgow -- when Glasgow had the second-largest tramway in the UK -- there
were three or four cinemas (unofficially) called "The Flea Pit". One such
was in Maryhill Road "The Blythswood". After matinée performances, children
stood at the nearby tram stop scratching themselves. All great fun for the
onlookers! When a tram arrived at the stop, the children swarmed aboard and
were herded into the lower saloon -- in amongst the elderly, horrified lady
passengers.

Sorry this is OT, but such a tramway memory needs to be told!
