Just got my latest newsletter from SPER and it speaks of the government announcing planning for the next generation of Melbourne tram. This is the first I have heard of this, especially after the big blurb on Channel 9 last night about the upgrades to the high floor fleet. Dies anyone know any details on this next gen project??? Would it be a suitable car for lighter routes that the E class would be good for and, has there been any additional orders placed for more E's beyond the current 20 add on??
