Technology was installed on buses and several intersections, including the
busways but the roads people never allowed it to be turned on, claiming
more studies on the affect on traffic flows was needed. 'NICTA' also
developed some hardware and software models too. It also went no where in
the RMS.

Looks like technology, developed over 10 years ago to give public buses are
clear run will now get deployed to give trucks a better run instead.
