Yes! I remember those tickets very well! After all these years, I am unsure
of the name of the system. Was it Solomatic? I never did work out how to
tell the value of a ticket as they always looked the same! Those were the
days when Edinburgh charged 5p for two stages (about a mile) and Glasgow
charged 15p for a similar distance. Of course, buses were "more efficient
and cheaper to run that trams"!!
