44 is a 1906 locally built copy of the original Auckland Brush cars of 1902.. I think it is now on an ex-Brussels truck. Their No 11 is an original Brush bogie car on an original set of Brush bogies.

I posted a photo of the gift here a few weeks ago, but copped criticism because I didn't name the location. As I recall the thread promptly veered off into rope tying discussion. As DK is off topic for TDU, I've not posted further.

* Firstly: A quick reminder that occasional OT postiings are OK - just put OT in the subject line and don't go on forever.
* Secondly: An Aussie (or NZ) tram anywhere is certainly not OT anyway.
* Thirdly: wandering off topic ... now that's certainly part of the fabric of TDU that I would like to see reduce.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Mikael Lund (pic attached) at the last COTMA and there is a presentation by him about the Danish Tram Museum on the COTMA web site at:
http://www.cotma.org.au/documents/christchurch_2016/DanishTHS.pdf

The museum has over 1250 members!!

Mal Rowe - who would very much like to visit the Danish Museum.
