It’s almost 30 years since I worked at Brunswick so can’t be sure of all the details but I tend to think that there is a height difference of a couple of feet between the depot tracks and those in Sydney Rd.
Also the shed roads I think went close the Sydney Rd depot wall so the only depot fan would be one like the former City Depot in Adelaide. I don’t think that would go over too well with anybody.
I’m happy to be corrected by anyone with fresher memories.
